T O P I C R E V I E WBuelAfter much deliberating, I have finally pulled my socks up and have almost completed an interactive Mercury, Gemini and Apollo quiz that can be both played singularly as well as real-time.I have asked some of those who were there, such as Gerry Griffin, Apollo 'Sim Sup' Dick Koos, Jerry Bostick, Dutch von Ehrenfried and Jerry Woodfill to offer some questions (and answers!!) that some, perhaps, might know as well as some "inside" questions that we very probably won't know, but will enjoy learning. It is the latter that I thought you guys (and girls) may enjoy most of all.Example: Gerry Griffin offers a question regarding his favourite astronauts and Dick Koos offers a question about crashing his car (clue: what you read in Gene Kranz' book about it is incorrect).I am still getting together some questions from other sources and, thanks to some of the contributors, we can have a fun "Match the photo of the toddler with the correct name" element to the quiz.Question: Should I offer this as a standalone quiz, an interactive 'live' quiz (at an agreed date and time) or the latter first and then the former for those who couldn't make it? I will say this: The live version is a lot of fun as the finale of the quiz is a time-limited multiple choice and you can see your progress against others! If you are interested in joining in, I sure would appreciate your opinion on which option you think would work best. Click here and it will take you to the software I will be using where you will be able to choose whichever option you prefer by way of a poll.garymilgromSounds great. Poll choice made. Thanks. randyMade my choice, too.KiteMe too.JonnyedSuper idea. Looking forward to it, in whatever form it takes.BuelGreat stuff!!This, above all else, will be fun!!! In the Live version it becomes a kind of 'tense fun' as not only do you get points for being right (obviously) but more so for being quick. So the sooner, the better and the fact that you can see other participants getting ahead or behind really increases the fun!!And the there will be a final leader board that is also fun to view (I will post on here the full one after the quiz)(Dutch von Ehrenfried offered ten questions and answers. I am thinking I might put next to the questions who asked it. That would be good, I think.)BuelUpdate; James Burke has volunteered a question and answer!!RobertBPolled. Buel16 of us polled so far and, as it stands, 'Live but with a standalone available for those who couldn't make the Live version' is just ahead... just!Rocketman!Sounds like fun. I’m game for the live run if the timing is right. Otherwise, solo still sounds enjoyable. Poll completed. robert_lI would be interested.
